Record achievements and prepare for site visits
Mark learners as achieved, compile the site-visit list and send it to the SETA.
When learners complete their learning units the provider marks them as achieved and sends the list to the FP&M SETA for verification during a site visit (external moderation). Only verified achievements are certificated.
Individual learners
- Open SDP > Enrolments Overview, find the learner (Search Learner or View) and open the profile.
- On the Qualification Enrolment tab click Edit on the qualification, change Achievement Status to Achieved and click Save.
- Repeat on the Unit Standard Enrolment tab for each completed unit standard, and on Learnership Enrolment for learnerships.
Group achievements
- On Enrolments Overview open the Qualifications, Unit Standards, Skills Programs, Learnerships or Classes tab.
- Tick the Select box for each learner/learning unit to include. The Mark as Achieved and Mark for Site Visit buttons become active.
- Click Mark as Achieved to update the status of all selected rows, then Mark for Site Visit and confirm.
- Click Send List for Site Visit to send the compiled list to the SETA. For a class, Class Site Visit on the Classes tab does the same in one step.
The SETA schedules the visit under External Moderation > Site Visits and confirms the date with you. After the visit the moderation report is captured and approved, and certificates are released for printing — see Certificates and statements of results.
